We need Independent Thought Leadership Now

Our Country is divided along party lines and unfortunately that tension was seen right in our own backyard. We saw the divide escalate to the point of violence and that should never be the answer.

Listen to The Official Campaign Song Donated by Soulijer Reign

Everyone’s support and contribution to our Campaign is unique. Corey or otherwise known as Souljer Reign showed his support by putting an incredible beat to some very powerful words of support.

Soulijer explains the meaning behind the song:
In my world the term “rider" is a term defined as a person that supports you no matter what. In this context it's similar to family, if not the same. In another way, everyone wants a family full of riders. Folks who ride the ride no matter what. No matter if they're nervous, they conquer that. No matter if the money is low, with patience, they rode through that season to the next. Even if the road is bumpy, keep riding. Even if things are uncomfortable, don't jump ship. Finish what was started. Still though you have to ride for the right cause, and right reasons. If you don't there's no sense of value. What you're riding for, what, or who has to be worth it. It has to be deemed good. It has to be valuable, just as valuable as family. Even politicians are riders. They're people who chose people for a career, and no one alive today is perfect. To have someone stand up for me and fight for me, that's my rider. Especially being they're supporting the good I am supporting. My family and friends go through life with me. My days, and my nights. No matter where we had to be, they rode. It gives me more of what I have and what I need so I can keep riding for myself. So I had to make that song. That song is for my riders. The people who will use time from their life for mine. Despite anything to the point of being unconditional. People speaking up for other people are our world's biggest riders in my opinion. I presume that's why kids want to be lawyers, and doctors when they grow up. There's nothing like being the person showing love, and helping folks. So I hope the song hits the ears of the right people, some riders riding to the good of people. That's what America is all about. I'm riding with Chris Eagle 4 Congress Group. He's riding to the good of people.

Eagle Talks about Climate Change

The destruction of our environment is not a partisan issue. We all live on this planet and we need to take care of it. There are already 120,000 properties at risk from frequent tidal flooding. The state is planning to spend over $4 billion in sea level rise solutions, which include protecting sewage systems, raising roads, stormwater improvements, and seawalls.

Eagle Runs as Independent

I hear everyday from the people of District 4 that the top priorities in Congress should be Healthcare & Education. Our current leadership in Congress puts the Priority of Party over the People. I agree with the people in District 4 and believe that Healthcare & Education are a Right and not a Privilege. The challenge is always how we will pay for it? I plan to pay for it with the tax revenue from the Federal Legalization of Cannabis. However, I realized this week that I will never be able to accomplish this for the people of District 4 running as a Democrat. I am announcing today that I am running as an Independent. To solve the problems of Education & Healthcare we need someone that can work with everyone in Congress, regardless of party.

Criminal Justice Reform

I decided to run for office after I was falsely arrested and detained 91 days for a crime that I did not commit. I learned from my own personal experiences the civil and human rights violations that happen every day across the criminal justice system.
I was blind to an unjust system that:
- Incarcerates over 2.4 Million and monitors 6.7 Million on probation a year.
- Allows for horrible criminal acts to take place within our jails/prisons
- Profits from incarceration.
